2012 looks to be a running year

I just signed up for two half marathons, whoo hoo!

• Surf City in San Diego on Feb 5. This will be the goal of the 3-month group training class that starts this Saturday.
• Napa2Sonoma Wine Country half on July 15. We're getting a team together, which should be great fun (although I'm not entirely sure about drinking wine post-race at 9 am.) 

I'm also planning to sign up for Wildflower again, although I really need to see how my shoulder fares over the next couple months. PT starts on Tuesday and I have crossed fingers and toes that this will work! Surgery would suck.

I am so much happier now that I have some goals for 2012. I was turning into a slug. Apparently I need to be signed up for a race in order to get motivated... alas, sad but true.

Having races lined up is a huge motivator too for me too! I'm starting my new year's resolutions early this year. I just came across your blog for my research- I'm planning on doing my first 70.3 this year.
